Starting my first company with 3 children, a $100 dollars and a van and unable to afford childcare with verve I created a show with my children exploring every corner of Canada. It continued to air in 78 markets around the world most recently in Canada in celebrations of the countries 150th Anniversary and the best of Canadian produced programming in the past.

The Need To Know

Following the Paul Bernardo trial, this groundbreaking documentary explored the role of the media and the ethical quandaries journalists faced in covering it. In 2023 some of our footage from this doc was utilized in the Netflix film starring Ryan Gosling.

LIFESPACE

Humanity IS space bound as Artemis II has shared. My engagement in the aerospace sector stems from producing this award winning international heralded 26 part series for DISCOVERY. Broadcast in 7 languages airing around the world, it showcased the science, every space agency, astronaut program efforts and government agencies involved in space exploration. That will allow humanity to flourish in space. Former astronaut Julie Payette hosted the Canadian portion.

The Moral Corporation

As ethics, the rule of law, and accountability fall by the wayside so does civil society. This 6 part documentary series explored these critical issues in corporate responsibility and government oversight through a variety of incidents including; Union Carbide, The Kader Industrial Toy Plant, The Narmada Dam, The Dalkon Shield and Ben & Jerry's Rainforest Crunch.

Resolving a number of issues in contract law and finance I led the launch of APTN's first film called "Skins" for the network. This critically acclaimed feature directed by Chris Eyre starred the late Graham Greene, Eric Schweig and Tantoo Cardinal.

Streets of Gold

This dramatic series followed the lives of two families forced to flee their homelands and immigrate to Canada. Stories that capture the hope, the courage, the loss and the failed expectations as new Canadians.

NINE MONTHS TO LIFE

This documentary examined the plight of incarcerated pregnant women forced to give up their children after giving birth. Filmed in prisons in Portage La Prairie and Kingston Pen and broadcast on the CBC's channel Newsworld.

Justice at Medicine Hat

This documentary program delved into the last public hanging in Canada that took place in the world's largest Nazi internment camp outside Medicine Hat, Alberta.

SHIFT

Natural disasters are increasing around the world. One the worst in Canada occurred a decade after the Gold Rush when two American entrepreneurs set out to capitalize on the rich coals seams in southeast Alberta. Ignoring the warnings of many including Indigenous Elders that the location of the new town was precarious as was their pace mining the coal. Until tragedy stuck and the mountain collapsed killing everyone in the town resulting in the worst recorded rock slide in North America.

Producing over 60 hours of award winning sports documentaries such as Overtime, Beirut United, The History of the CFL and The History of The Stanley Cup, these programs broadcast nationally and internationally on networks including; ESPN, CBS,TSN, CTV, Newsworld and the CBC. Through permanent installations, historical documentaries covering the history of the Stanley Cup and The CFL can still be viewed as The Hockey and CFL's Hall of Fame.
